Aimlessly, I picked up the remote and started watching HBO now, but the noise was bothering me; so I closed the TV. I lied on the bed for god knows how long. I saw sun was fading slowly in the horizon, lights of the cars were getting prominent on the streets. A gentle breeze of the air conditioning was filling the entire room, I just wanted to enjoy the piece and lie down. I did not want to pick up the phone or check Facebook, I did not want to check my iPad, I just wanted to lie down.
I already mentioned in my last post, I am taking some time off from my work and I am focusing on my university courses and application procedure. Surprisingly I am busier than before. The bedroom has turned into an office of a mad artist. Camera is lying on the table, laptop is on floor, papers are lying every where, electric kettle is fuming and I am drinking my nth number of green tea.
It was important and much needed for me. I needed to focus on this as it’s going to shape my future. How I wish my ma and baba were here. Baba helped me a lot during my last grad school entrance and I miss going to Kaplan classes without him. Ma prepared hot saffron milk during my exams. Now I need to walk myself to the training institute and prepare my own green tea; but I guess this is what called growing up.
I thought I will be in my PJ but I am more in jeans than ever. My Toms shoes are lying outside the apartment because I am continuously in and out. My days and nights are packed than before. During my aimless strolls in neighborhood, I managed to capture some unconventional beauties of Cambridge.
I am going to use this post to show some less known sides of Cambridge.
I can’t imagine the busy bee walking aimlessly :)) Lovely pics.
Your updates on future plans are really motivating.
What a beautiful majestic place! Enjoy your stay and keep writing!
Aimless walks turned so productive !! And my new tea obsession is rose berry oolong from Teavana.
I need to try that for sure!
