I am one of those people who runs away from all superfoods because of unpleasant after taste. That same me created an amazing PINK SUPER FOOD LATTE recipe with @florahealthy Red Beet Crystals. After creating this recipe, we fell in love so much we are drinking this almost daily (including Anouk).
When it comes to making a latte, I wouldn’t say I like to adhere to a recipe. I feel latte and drinks should have a 101 recipe and easy to follow along.
Option 1
- 1 heaping tablespoon pure beetroot powder mixed with water.
- 2 tablespoons natural almond butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla beans
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 pitted dates
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup/honey
- 3 cups unsweetened almond or cashew milk
Option 2
- 1 heaping tablespoon pure beetroot powder mixed with water.
- 2 tablespoon toasted coconut
- 1 Tbsp white chocolate
- 1/3 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1 cup coconut-based non-dairy milk, warmed (not the full-fat kind)
Option 3
- 1 heaping tablespoon pure beetroot powder mixed with water.
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- 1 tablespoon ginger juice fresh made (alternate: ground ginger)
- 4 pitted dates
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup/honey
- 3 cups cashew milk
- In a sauce pan, over medium heat, heat milk.
- Add everything plus hot milk into a blender. Bled it until frothy. Adjust the sweetness. Serve warm.
