When it comes to weeknight recipes we prefer it simple, healthy, wholesome and balanced ! This recipe – Shrimp in Garlic Butter comes so quickly.
I used @veggiesmadeeasy MANN™ Veggie Sides Broccoli with Lemon Herb Sauce. We love these Veggie Sides that come entirely seasoned. All you have to do is put it inside the microwave for 3 minutes, and your dinner is complete. We love that these sides come in under 3 minutes, and this gets ready on its own while we prepare the rest.
With protein, carbs, vegetables – this is a completely balanced meal.
A few things I would like to mention for Shrimp in Garlic Butter recipe – I prefer Jumbo Shrimp that is available at Amazon Fresh. That said, any brand shrimp will work. We add a lot of garlic and never forget the dose of lemon juice! As this meal is Asian-ish, we pair it with white basmati – however, many times I skipped or reduced the rice to ¼ cup and filled my plate with more broccoli or other MANN™ Veggie Sides (all of them are so delicious!)
Weeknight recipe under 30 – Shrimp in Garlic Butter and a simple side

2-3 tablespoons butter
12 oz Fresh Brand – Raw Jumbo Easy Peel Tail On Shrimp (21-25 Count/Pound),
salt and pepper to taste
6-8 garlic cloves, minced to taste
Juice of one lemon
1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnish
Directions
- Place the butter in a large pan and melt over medium high heat. Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper.
- Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
- Add the garlic and cook for one more minute. We want the raw smell to be gone.
- Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, then serve.
